Level Up and Heal

Hello chilly weather and 2023,

It's been a while since I've posted here... The reason being, I leveled up and adjusting to life on "hard mode" as a single parent is not easy. Since May of this year, I've tried different formats to see what works best for me in this public journal as I like to call it, and it has certainly been fun expressing myself online. However, after going back and forth on whether or not I should be sharing certain things on the internet, I decided to go silent for a while and focus more on living in the present moment. By chance, I came across a meme that read, Text-Post-Email like it will be read in court one day -Your Lawyer, and decided to use it as a guide when posting here and sharing further personal details online. Here we go!

In 2022, many things did not go according to plan. I fell short on some of the goals I set back in January, but that's ok because trying to accomplish those goals led me on new paths and adventures. What a blessing in disguise! I realized life is better when I spend most of my time doing things that I love and enjoy and it has helped me reduce any bad feelings and anxiety from life's challenges. Some of the things that bring me joy are reading interesting books, listening to podcasts and talking to intellectuals with interests similar to my own. This second half of the year has been the most challenging for me, and I'm so proud of all the moments that I was able to remain cool calm and collected when my patience and last nerve were put to the test.

More over, I have a deeper understanding of the people within my inner circle and finally escorted the unnecessary and toxic ones out. It's hard when it's family members, but I've decided to put my health and happiness first, aka priority #1, regardless of familial status. After facing many adult challenges, I have given more thought to the word JUSTICE and the bigger issues going on around the world.

Considering the current global situation, I find myself once again in need to shift my priorities. There are so many countries at war, corrupt people in power depleting and ruining their dominion, and meanwhile the global economy goes wild making the financial climate hard to understand and predict... which brings me to priority #2 financial stability.

As I prepared to end 2022 in a strong note, I have decided to dedicate my @polysbank IG account to my financial growth and progress, delineating the money moves I make and what I learn as I study and prepare for the Certified Financial Planner exam. With all the curve balls that 2022 has thrown at me, my plans to take the exam this year got a bit delayed, but I am not discourage and ready to extend my course with BU in order to complete all the modules and be fully prepared and knowledgeable when the time comes. The IG account will be focused on my relationship with money, thoughts, ideas and current money moves for the first quarter or so, but after March I plan on focusing and further developing business to turn Poly's Bank into a successful venture. Wish me luck, God bless and let's secure the bad in 2023!

PS, I think I finally found my TwinFlame!
